With the following information, we would like to provide you with an overview of the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website at www.sourcify.net and your rights under the Data Protection Act in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 DS-GVO.

2. Purposes and legal bases for the processing of personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu) and all other applicable laws for the following purposes and based on the following legal bases:

(a) For processing concerns that you request by e-mail, via the contact form on the website or by telephone - your legal basis for this is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) DS-GMO.

(b) To ensure a needs-based design and ongoing optimization of this website and to statistically record and evaluate the use of the website (use of Google Analytics - see Section 11 below) - The legal basis for this is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) DS-GMO.

 

Minor

Minors may not submit personal information to us without the consent of the guardian. As part of the website, we do not process any personally acquired personal data of minors.

 

3. Categories of recipients of personal data

If and as far as necessary for the purposes mentioned under 3 above, we will also disclose your personal data to the following recipients or categories of recipients in accordance with Art. 4 No. 9 GDPR:

5. Duration of storage of personal data and criteria for determining this duration

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. For the personal data sent to us by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant facts have been finally clarified.

 

6. Your rights as an affected person

According to Art. 15 DS-GVO, each person concerned whose personal data are processed has the right to information on the part of the person responsible concerning the personal data concerned, the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 DSGVO, and the law pursuant to Art. 17 DS-BER for deletion, according to Art. 18 DSGVO the right to restriction of processing, according to Art. 21 GDPR the right to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability according to Art. 20 DS-BER. The right to information and the right to delete also apply the restrictions according to §§ 34 and 35 BDSG-new.

If the processing of your personal data is based on consent given to us, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent to revocation.

Furthermore, there is a right of appeal to the competent data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DS-GVO i.V. m. § 19 BDSG-new.

7. Duty to provide data

When using our website you are not obliged to provide personal data. If you wish us to contact you, we will need at least (i) your name and (ii) your telephone number or e-mail address. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

 

8. Automated decision-making and profiling

In the creation and execution of our contractual relationship, you will not be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing - including profiling - under Art. 22 GDPR, which will have legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.

 

9. Additional information about your right of objection according to Art. 21 DS-GVO

For reasons arising from your particular situation, you have the right at any time against the processing of personal data relating to you which, on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DS-GVO (data processing based on a weighing of interests) takes place, objecting; this also applies to a profiling based on this provision pursuant to Art. 4 para. 4 GDPR.

If you object, we will no longer process your personal information unless we can establish compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the purposes of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims.

If your personal data are processed by us in order to operate direct mail, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct mail.

The objection is free of form and should be addressed to our data protection officer under the contact details mentioned in point 2.

10. Webtracking - Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., located in Mountain View, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
